Hello Mark and list,

The treaty you mention is not all excusive.  It pretty much just says that meteorites collected by the government teams are not to be traded or sold.  It would not apply to meteorites collected in a privately funded expedition.  The would not be the first private meteorite expedition to Antarctica either.
