Dear Meteor Enthusiasts,

This is sad news. Sid was a frequent contributor to our discussions. We were
to get together for the 2003 Leonids but could not locate each other in the
darkness of the Trona Pinnacles Park. The lack of cell phone coverage did
not help either! We were going to try again for the 2004 Orionids and now
this. His wife did pick a great day for the funeral.

Dear Friends,


I am writing to you on behalf of my recently deceased husband Sidney.I don't
remember if I have ever met you. However I am trying the best I can to
answer Sidney's email.
I am complely devastated because  Sid and I were both coming home from our
trip to Ireland and we were in a horrible motorvehicle accident. Sidney was
killed instantly. I just got out of the ICU a couple of days ago. My home
phone number is 760-375-7848. My e-mail is juliettaferreira at aol.com. We will
be having funeral services on thursday (8-12-04) this week at 9 am at the
St. Anne's church in Ridgecrest. You are invited to come. Sidney had so many
friends and was loved by so many people. I don't know all of them so if you
have mutual friends with Sidney then please let them know about Sidney's
passing. Sidney was a beautiful person and I know for a fact that you must
be very special person since you were a friend of Sid's.
