(meteorobs) a quickie from Western Turkey

Hi all,

Two trips outside last night. Briefly around midnight for 10
minutes...didn't see a thing but we had crystalline conditions and oodles of
stars...Second trip from approx 4:45 - 5:15 am local time (we're +3 UT), I
saw four meteors, of which at least two were definite Perseids and the
others were too faint and too short to be sure of much.

I'll check with others later today. I have a friend in a neighboring village
who was going to spend most of last evening on her terrace. I'll let you
know what she saw.

I'm saving my energy for tonight's performance!
