(meteorobs) weather conditions for Perseids max

We have a group of 25 or so people here at the George Observatory in 
Ft Bend County Texas waiting out the clouds.  The cold front leading 
edge just reached us at 5-6 pm CDT.  We will be open all night for 
the public to drive down here from the Houston area to see the 
Perseids.  
It looks like we may clear after 1 am CDT, I sure hope so.

Have not seen any reports from the east coast yet!  Any one on the 
coast seeing anything yet?
