(meteorobs) One per minute from Southern Oregon, USA

Observed under very dark, clear skies at about 6,000 feet elevation. Between 12:15am and 2:45am local time I counted exactly 150 Perseids. Most were faint, though many had nice trains. Only a few were exceptionally bright. Saw what looked like a couple of fireballs low on the horizon. Temperature was moderate and the wind speed was low. Mosquito counts were higher than normal. A very nice evening that concluded with the crescent Moon and Venus rising together
