I was able to get in an hour of post maximum Perseid observing at the
recent star party on Saturday nite, Aug. 14/15, at the Mahoning Valley
Astronomical Society Cortese Observatory in Braceville, Ohio. Lynne and
I were back there visiting and attended.
From 3:45 to 4:45 UT I saw 19 meteors, 8 of which were Perseids. The best
Perseid I saw was seen casually earlier when I saw a 1st magnitude yellow
-green Perseid with a long trail. Below is a short summary.
