(meteorobs) Observation August 11/12, 2004 from Slovenia

The night of the Perseid maximum was also clear and I observed 
for more than six hours Teff from 2145 to 0430 local time.

I got the feeling there were fewer brighter meteor than what one 
would expect from the Perseids on the maximum night. 
Nonetheless, a few fireballs were seen, all appearing late in the 
night:
at 01:27:43 UT a -3m PER with 10-second train shot through 
Aquarius,
at 01:52:40 UT a -3m PER with 14-second train appeared at the 
Per-Aur border,
at 02:05:24 UT a -5m PER with a 3-second train appeared low in 
Cetus/Sculptor.
When the skies were too bright to observe and while packing I saw 
some more Perseid fireballs:
at 02:37:18 UT a -3m PER was seen in western skies,
at 02:48:50 UT a -4m PER with 20-second train shot through 
Taurus,
at 02:55:13 UT a -3m PER was seen in southern skies.

I finished this great observing night with a total of 517 meteors, 454 
of them being Perseids.
