Please put any additional remarks, sketches, drawings, etc. below:
I'm sorry that I can't be more accurate, but we were camping last week in
the Kaibab Forest just south of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Also, we were
getting ready for bed so we had no paper or pens at hand to record times,
constellations, etc. and the next morning we couldn't remember exact times
and locations. I would like to know a little more about this fireball
(bolide?) if possible since it was my first one and amazing. Where did it
start (I first saw it when it entered my field of view) and where did it
end? Did it break up in the air (my husband saw the explosion as a
reflection in our truck's window even though it was behind the trees)? Did
it reach land and/or leave behind any meteorites? How far away was it when
it exploded (i.e., over what town or section of highway)? Anything else
that might be interesting but that I did not think to ask. Thank you for
any information that you can supply.

P.S. We forgot to ask at the Grand Canyon if anyone else had seen and
reported anything (the fire station attentant perhaps).
