  no, larg bright green head & normal trail

Please put any additional remarks, sketches, drawings, etc. below:
  Large, very bright (mag est. -10). Traveled SSE to a point W of the head 
of Hydra. It had a distinct greenish color and brightened as it moved, then 
it suddenly vanish. Some reddish color visible in fainter trailing portion. 
Not much to compare brightness against. It was defiantly much brighter than 
Venus ever gets and not as bright as the Moon.
