(meteorobs) Geminid activity

In light of (preliminary) ZHR data for this year's Geminids and reports* that
have been sent to 'meteorobs', can anyone argue that there is significant
evidence for the decline of overall Geminid activity as compared to the previous
decade? 
* - I don't think I've ever seen a report with 83 Gem/h one full night before
the peak!
