(meteorobs) Geminids from EMO

    The Geminids were a complete washout on the peak days from my
observatory in Courtenay BC on Vancouver Island.  No spectra this year! :-(
This is to be expected at this time of year as we often get one storm front
after another at this time of year.   John Purdy and I are investigating
setting up an FM radio detection system so we can at least participate in
observations at this time of year.  In the mean time I guess we just count
rain drops bouncing off the roof!
