After travelling the last few years to see the Leonids  I decided this year I
would watch/record from my backyard weather permitting.
Well I got what I deserved,   clouds.

So here is the "tongue in cheek" observation report I wrote to make myself feel
better.  And then when I was also clouded out for the Geminids  I decided to
wait till the Geminid flurry of posts subsided  and  share with the group:

Here is my observation report for those cloudy nights:

I counted sheep for 9 hours last night, from 11pm-8:am PST.
Limiting magnitude was  -10,  under a very warm ceiling.
I saw a total of 86 sheep, including 44 Muttons, 6
Black Sheep, 3 Medium-Wool Merinos  and 33 European Mouflons.
32 of the Muttons (and 51 total sheep) came in the last half of the session.
The Muttons appeared fatter than on earlier observations.
