(meteorobs) Police and astronomical observations

Whenever I take my students to a dark sky location in the national 
forest, the cars near the side of the road often attract the attention 
of the deputy sheriff on patrol. Whenever that happens and they 
"investigate," they seem so disappointed that their is no alcohol and 
under age drinkers or some drugs they can get a bust for. Just clean 
looking young people doing astronomy.
