(meteorobs) Observation July 16/17, 2004 from Slovenia

Hi All,

yesterday evening it was raining but it cleared nicely later in the night.
I was hoping to observe for two or three whole hours but some low 
clouds cut the session short. It cleared again completely at about 
2.30 AM but I was too tyred to resume then.
Again, despite decent skies I recorded a rather low number of 
meteors, 14 in total. Several meteor were shower members, 
including 2 early Perseids (!), and one of each Alpha Capricornid, 
Pisces Austrinid and Northern Delta Aquarid. The best meteor of 
the night was a slow multi-colour -1 magnitude Capricornid that 
shot through Aquarius.

Tonight we are going to have another clear night, I hope to see 
more meteor activity.
