I just returned from a three hour session in the mountains. The moon was up for the first 45 minutes. Actually moonset was quite spectacular, better than the meteor activity. AQR/CAP rates were low. There were a few Perseids scattered about. Even sporadic rates were on the low side. The data is on tape so a complete report is forthcoming. Bob Lunsford
