Hi Michel,
The meteor is not one capricornids. From the photographic resumption the meteor seems to come from a radiant one in Oph/Sco/Sag.
Clear Skies,
Roberto Haver

  Hi folks,

I went out observing for 2 hours during the night from 26-27 July. Sky conditions were great again for our observing post. The milky way was visible from Perseus into Southern Saggitarius. Nice meteor activity. All the showers were active during this night. One highlight was the appearance of a +0 Capricornid at 23.01 UT. This meteor was also captured by Klaas Jobse. For this picture, please consult the link :

The Perseids were pretty active. Some nice members with short path in the surroundings of the radiant. Around 00.00 UT we (me and colleague observer Simon Vanderkerken) observed a weak auroral display. I stopped observing at 00.30 UT, still got no holiday and need some rest before the work...
Simon went on observing till 02.10 UT but saw no special things any more.
  Enjoy this new report,

  Michel.
