Subject: FIREBALL ALERT

JUNE 3, 2004 Time: 02:40:13 Pacific Daylight Time

Does anyone have any information about a very bright
fireball observed over southern British Columbia early
this morning at 02:40:13 a.m. P.D.T.?

I have just checked the EMO tape at Courtenay and I
have recorded a spectacular fireball near my south
east horizon. Camera operators, please check your
tapes.
I am having problems posting to the MIAC list so
if this posting does not show up please forward it to
interested parties. I have lost my computer video
capture capability for the time being but I will
retain the VCR tape of this fireball.

Ed Majden
Courtenay, B.C.

Note: Please forward to David Dodge, I lost his
address!

Lots of eye witness reports of a giant fireball event
at 2:40 am this morning over Chehalis Washington USA.
Based on the multiple reports of sonic booms it is
likely that material made it to the ground..
