The two links sent by David Entwistle, have nothing to do, other than
confusing the whole issue, regarding the possible fireball seen at night
recently over Portugal.
These two links refer to a photo taken with a digital camera, by an
engeenering student, on the afternoon of May 31st 2004 at around 14h30
Lisbon summertime, at Monte Novo dam, that was published by the newspaper
"Correio da Manhã" on the 08th June .
The event of the possible fireball took place on the evening of 1st June
2004 first detected by portuguese radar at 23h19 at Beja (south), then seen
by hundreds of people all over Portugal; it was last detected by radar ar
Porto (north) at 23h44 when it moved northwards on an ascending path across
the border with Galicia, Spain. It was also seen by several people in
southern Galicia.
The correct link is:

I must add that, for some reason that escapes me, several people have
complained that they can get to this web page but unfortunately, cannot
dowload the video link.
