Hmm, I was comparing the peak dates of the Geminids with that of
Meteoracle and got a bit confused.
In the calendar IMO list the peak longitude as 262.2, but in their table
of radiants it's 262.0.
262.2 = 22:15
262.0 = 17:32
Gary Kronk's website gives 20:45 as the maximum time, though he also
mentions 262.2.
The DMS uses 262.1 (19:54)
In 1991 the highest rate was observed at 262.3, in 1993 there was a
plateau between 261.8 and 262.3, in 1996 the same happens between 262.0
and 262.4 (with a slight increase at 262.1) And also in 2001 (between
261.9 and 262.4).
So, expect most activity between 17:32 and 0:37 UT.
