(meteorobs) April 22?

Dumb question. In addition to the Lyrids tonight, I seem to recall having read 
somewhere that there was a possible encounter with the trail of a recent comet 
(Machholz?) also on April 22. I can't recall how authoritative that claim was, 
or whether it had subsequently been withdrawn or rebutted. All that I remember 
is the coincidental date. Is there anything to this?
