Ed, Obviously with much difficulty!  Don't forget to add that some  are 
meteorologists, whether specializing in Earthly, Martian, Venusian, even  Solar 
weather, etc., too...
Geo: Ornithologists are not included - Birds  don't fall nor were they 
believed to be formed in the sky - but let's not ask  whether bird poop can form in 
the sky - just cover that big glass:(

John, "meteor shower" as in a  shower of stones vs. the regular shower of 
light - very good point!
