(meteorobs) Size of radiant?

Are we talking about two different things, here?  1) The size of the
radiant, itself and, 2) How far away from the radiant is it possible
to see shower members?  If one looks  90 degrees from a radiant,
isn't it possible to see meteors with very long paths skimming
the atmosphere?
