Hi Ed,

Sorry that was a typo. It should have been "a thirty second exposure"
and I'm just snapping pictures before seeing a meteor. I'm using 30
second exposures with a 1600 ISO because I'm concerned that using a
400 or so will not capture some meteors or if they do, it'll be very
faint. I guess they can still be very faint with ISO 1600 in a 30
second exposure since the meteor (and/or train) can be seen for only a
few seconds at best.

I'll experiment with longer exposures (5 minutes) and see how that goes.

As for the battery, I ordered an a/c adapter over 8 days ago (locally
sold out) and it still hasn't arrived. I'm sure it'll show up the day
after the Perseid's peak.
