(meteorobs) Perseid Weather!

Weather looks great or at least semi-great in Tulsa, Oklahoma for
tonights Perseids. The Astronomy Club of Tulsa will be having a Perseid
Meteor Watch all night at our observatory. I am doing a project with
Bert Matous who will be in Pittsburgh Kansas observing the shower. We
will be in constant contact by cell to see if we can see the same
brighter meteors when one occurs. Could be interesting. Those of you
clouded out tonight are welcome to drive, fly, or whatever means you
have to get here to observe the shower. Anyone interested e-mail me and
I will send directions.

Ed,

You're not alone....it is storming as I type this, with thunderstorms
predicted all the way through the weekend. If you do get to do some
visual observing, don't forget to use 15-minute bins.....
