(meteorobs) Quick Perseid Summary from S. California

Pete Gural and I managed a short session this morning before clouds ended 
our session. I managed to log 58 total meteors (38 Perseids) in a little 
over two hours. The Perseids in general were nice and bright with several in 
the negative magnitude range. Pete was operating four video cameras and we 
have already seen some impressive activity on tape.

The forecast is for improving weather tonight so we both look forward to 
some more impressive activity. A full report will follow when time allows.
