(meteorobs) Perseid meteor counts from CA

Hello from clear skies in Southern California ! I took the opportunity to
avoid the summer haze and humidity of the US east coast and visit Bob
Lunsford for the Perseids. We have been out two nights and plan a third with
visual and video observations. The weather has been very good and we got a
full night in on August 12 but did not see the predicted enhancement of
Perseid activity at 8:18 UT. We were joined last night by Joe Assmus and a
great time was had by all. Highlight was a -4 Perseid with 10 second
