Hi John (is that a Greek name i see??)

I almost NEVER hear about Turkey with regard to meteors!
My point was that, unless my memory's playing tricks on me,
it seems that Australia gets a lot of these sightings. I'm an
American (expat) and although I do hear of things occasionally falling on
parts of the US, for some reason, it just seems that Australia gets more
than the US does...I'm probably wrong but I'd like to see some stats before
I go quietly to sit in the corner!

Here on the border between Greece and Turkey (northern Aegean)
it seems that this time of year - every year - the skies are
particularly crystaline. I'm going outside now just to admire the milky way
and the rest of the cast of gazillions!!
