A nice bolide seen through a thick low haze must have given anyone in
Borrego Springs, near San Diego, something to look at. From Oceanside it
looked like a -3, but it must have been a -5 to -6 in clear skies. My local
area of Oceanside has bad LM, and surrounded with haze.
