(meteorobs) Fwd: An Explosion on the Moon

thanks for sending this Michael. i wanted to bring up something in that
article but thought it was too off topic but since you 'broke the ice' i'm
going to go ahead and ask...

in the article, it says that the moondust 'makes the air smell'...

smell like what? does anyone have an idea what would cause the smell and
what smell would that be??
