(meteorobs) Meteors with StellaCam II

Hello,
 
With the upcoming Perseid shower in mind, I am planning for the observations (if weather permits). Just wondering if anyone on the list have experience on using the StellaCam II (or equivalent) for meteor-shower observations?     Eventually, what settings are you using when
employing a wide-field lens at about F/2 ?  My main concern is that the sky is (still) fairly bright even in mid-august.
