(meteorobs) Fireball sighting southern UK 16 - 17th July 2005?

Nothing of significance was seen from Plymouth at all on the radio obs
system all evening on the 16th. Had a fireball come down from the Wales
direction I would almost certainly have registered it.

There appear to be two different fireball reports going here. West-southwest
of Belgium would not put it near Wales...

Hello David,
According to a very simple planetarium program (called Hemelkaart) the sun
sets at Ronse (the nearest place to Otegem I have in this program) (3.4
east, 50.4 north) 19:45 (~some minutes), so the fireball apears after
sunset!
Regards,
Koen
