Hello ykchia:
    I agree, information on this is hard to find for us amateurs.  Have a
look at this reference list: http://www.imo.net/bib/metabl0.html   You could
try searching for some of these papers using the ADS service at:
http://adswww.harvard.edu/
    The only other suggestion I have is try contacting the authors of some
of these papers and see if they can send you a reprint.  Other than that,
check with  a good university science library to see if they subscribe to
these professional Journals.  Hope this helps!  If you find a good source
let me know!
