Hello.
After long period of frost and clouds it got finally warmer and I
opened my observing season-2005 with two sessions on the first March
nights. Unfortunately, the snow presence severely worsened my lm, also
during the first observation some altocumulus was present.
The second time the sky was very transparent. Meteor activity, as
usual for this time of year, was quite moderate. However it is
interesting, that on the first night, under worse conditions I saw
more meteors. During almost an hour 7 meteors appeared, 2 of them had
negative magnitude. Both were slow, the first one had bright red color,
and another was yellowish.
During second watch I saw only 5 dim meteors, the most bright of them
had 3 mag., it turned to be delta-Leonid.
