The AMS has received a total of 37 reports so far on this event. As
expected, observer accounts are widely scattered but the following can be
reasonably deduced:

The fireball occurred near 0345 Universal Time on March 13.

The object was intensely green with a peak magnitude in the range of -15
to -20

The average duration was near 5 seconds.

It could possibly belong to the Anthelion (Virginid) meteor shower, whose
radiant was low in the southeast at the time.

Any meteorites would have fallen into the Pacific Ocean.

Clear Skies!
