(meteorobs) RE: New colorgramme for MAnalyzer and Colorgramme fro RMOB

Hello,

This "MAnalyzer version 2.0" means the Java MAnalyzer (or JAnalyzer) 
that actually has it own version numbering, that has been at 0.93 for 
about a year now (don't know if this will ever get to 1.0 ;-).
Because I do not have my own web page, this program is not anywhere in 
the net (as far as I know), but anyone wanting to use or test this can 
get this directly by asking me via email (or probably from someone else 
that has this in use). Unfortunately there are no well written 
instructions of use, but maybe something written to those using this 
program can be found and I might try to write more if there is interest 
on this.

One property of the program that can be of use, is the ability to define 
independent counting of more than one carrier in the same receiver band, 
if existing. Jeff Brower tells on his experience about this: "On 87.260 
MHz I had six carriers closely spaced and the program accurately counted 
each one while ignoring their neighbouring carriers."
I may not have enough of this experience, but I expect that for example 
a strong ES-signal (or other) in one of the carriers may cause some harm 
because of the AGC.  There are real time "noise observing windows" in 
the program (to which the signals are compared in real time) that are 
expected to compensate the effect to as far as the radio-noise from the 
antenna or the first amplifier stage(s) is not supressed to (almost) non 
existing.
