bright white, like a roman candle
Did it have any color(s)? yes, white fading to blue and white
Did it appear to fall apart as it went by? What did that look like?
yes, after a short burn of white and blue it appeared to fall apart
Did it leave a persistent streak in the sky after it was gone?
How long did that last?
yes, 2 to 3 seconds
How fast did it move? Use a 1 to 5 scale, 1 being
VERY slow, and 5 being extremely quick.

Did you hear a sound?
If yes, what was the time delay from sighting to sound?
yes, a quick hiss sound a few seconds later
What is the closest Town/State to where you saw the fireball?
Hillsville, Va

This night I saw several quick fireballs. One was really bright and is the
one on which I make this report. It was bright enough to light the ground
below it
for a moment... 2 - 3 seconds. The trail it left was (my best guess) 20 to
30
miles accross the sky.
