(meteorobs) Observation November 11/12, 2005 from Slovenia

I observed again Friday night, this time from Pohorje mountain. It was
cloudy as seen from the lowland so I decided to head uphill. The fog
started at 450 meters above sea level and the sky cleared at about 750
meters. I settled at about 1000 m elevation and the view below was quite
nice - only faint circles of light were visible above the villages.

The meteor activity was high with 80 meteors recorded in 3 hours. Most
meteors were sporadic, but there were also 17 Taurids and 2 Leonids seen.
No bright meteors were spotted during the observation. However, there was
a flash (from an object of about magnitude -6) in the sky minutes before I
started observing, while preparing my observing gear.
