I observed from the same location as the night before. The fog layer was
higher than yesterday and only ended above 900 meters. I was quite happy
to find out that my observing location was some 50 meters above the fog.
I started at 3 am local time with the Moon low in the west. In two hours
of observations I recorded 48 meteors. The Taurids were less active than
yesterday with only 8 members seen. The Leonids were quite prominent with
6 meteors.
Two Northern Taurid fireballs were seen. The first was a magnitude -4
meteor low in the west (it actually plunged into the fog, lighting it) at
02:16:10 UT. The second was a nice blue-green magnitude -4 fireball with
three bursts in Aries at 03:31:52 UT.

The observation was abruptly ended when the fog raised and covered the
meadow I was observing from.

Clear skies!
Javor
