I made my own 55mhz horizontal dipole with reflector
and installed an RF amp.  Also I bought a better
radio.  I'm hearing doppler shift often now (I think)
and I'm seeing reflections almost continuously.  I've
even captured a few images of what I believe to be
meteor head reflections.  I uploaded one here:
