Rob was referring to the outside of the meteorite. Iron meteorites when
found are pretty rusty on the outside. I am not sure you would call an iron
meteorite, fine grained. They have crystalline strutures of various size,
and despite their high nickel content....rusting is a major problem for any
curator.
