Under very clear skies (LM +6.60) I had another successful session
observing the Taurids and the remnants of the Orionids. The rates
for the STAs were quite similar to the previous night's session,
though there were long lulls particularly during the second of the
three hours I observed. All three radiants which were observed
had their "peak" activity during different periods. A total of
58 meteors were seen during the three-hour watch.

STA -- Overall, they outperformed the sporadics, with a
three-hour total of 21 STAs vs. 19 SPOs, but the SPOs did have
the upper hand during the final period, when 11 were seen vs.
just 5 STAs. The highest hourly rate for STAs was during P1, with
10 observed that period. Three negative magnitude STAs
were observed (-3, -2, -1).

NTA -- Unlike last night, the NTAs put on a better showing
this morning with 6 seen the second period, a total of 8 for
the entire session.

Orionids -- On their way out, they still managed to upstage
the Taurids during the final period, with an astonishing
7 members seen!! All told, 10 Orionids were logged.
