A significant fireball, rivaling the light of the full moon, occurred near
2100 central daylight time on April 19 (0200 April 20 Universal Time).
Reports have been received by the American Meteor Society from Missouri,
Oklahoma, and Arkansas. These reports give an average magnitude near -11,
with most witnesses mentioning fragmentation. Preliminary analysis indicate
this object could be a member of the Antihelion meteor shower, with a
radiant currently located in the constellation of Libra, near the planet
Jupiter.
