A significant fireball, rivaling the full moon in brightness, was seen over
the northeastern USA and Ontario, Canada near 2330 EDT on April 26 (0330
Universal Time April 27). Most of the reports received by the American
Meteor Society indicate a duration of five seconds with a strong
bluish-green color. At this time it appears this object was a sporadic
(random) fireball, not associated with any known stream.
