Remarks

Fifth night of the meteor camp and definitely the best one and the most productive one. Very clear conditions and I really enjoyed the high meteor activity! More Perseids this night and a high but steady SDA activity. The highlight was a rare -6 Delta Aquarid fireball in Cetus. The Capricornids were active but activity wasn't impressive. A minus 3 Capricornid was seen. But what about the sporadic rates; thanks to the very clear conditions I observed many many weak sporadic meteors. During the last interval I counted at least 44 sporadics!

Kind regards,

Michel.
