We had some good transparency dispite the moon being a spoiler. Before
moonrise we could see to 6.5 magnitude. During that time we observed some
with a 90mm spotting scope, and saw the asteroid Hebe, Neptune and other
deep sky objects. During meteor observing we had the moon behind us. In
four hours I saw 79 Perseids. The best meteors were a -3 CAP, the only one
seen, and three -2 Perseids. one of which became bifurcated during flight.
I observed meteors for four hours, but took an hour break after three to get
refreshed. In all 120 meteors were seen.
