After 14 days of clouds and rain it finally cleared yesterday. I
started as soon as it got dark at 9:42 PM local time. The sky was
quite transparent, enabling stars of 6th magnitude to be visible even
with the Moon high up. The only problem were the clouds that were
present at all times and occationally covered most of my FOV
(therefor some breaks were needed). After 0:30 local time the only
clod-free direction was to the south but there was too much
moonlight to watch there. After half hour and no improvement I
decided to quit.
I observed for 2.5 hours Teff. I faced south-east for the first hour
until the Moon rose above trees. I then turned north-west and used
the umbrella to cover the Moon. I saw 41 meteors in total with 27
Perseids. No fireballs were seen. Still, the Perseids were quite
bright with many meteors of magnitude zero or brighter.
It was great to be under the stars again!

Clear skies!
Javor
