Hello,

I find the time signals held keep me awake, probably because
I also speak into a push-button mike each minute, repeating
the time signal. When reducing my tape the next day, if I find
verbal "minutes" missing, I know that I driffted off the sleep,
and subtract the missing time.

I once had what was possibly a  bear encounter.  Whatever
it was it was BIG, and made a lot of noise crashing around.  
Every few minutes a had a "mad minute" and turned a bright
light on and swept around.  I was alone, was up in the Northern
mountains of Pennsylvania.  When we drove into the drive of
our hunting cabin that day, we flushed a small bear out.

That was also the night I saw a "crooked" meteor.
