(meteorobs) Once in a lifetime meteor

Sitting out on my backyard patio(Richmond, VA) at about 9:30 pm 
tonight (06/20/06) and the most brilliant and colorfull meteorite 
streaks across the evening sky. East to West, blue/green ball with a 
bright yellow tail. I've been earthbound with my eyes to the sky all 
my life (49 yrs)and I've never seen anything like this. Cold chills. I 
stand up and can still follow it to the end of my horizon in the trees 
to the west. I've seen rocket/ missle launches from Vandenberg as a 
teenager from the Santa clara valley, CA and they had nothing over 
this.
