Thanks, Joe, for the clarification. Indeed, Paul Wiegert and
colleagues have made particle simulations which show very
low probability of visible activity. Jeremie Vaubaillon and
I have given a short summary of that in the current issue
of WGN. The paper also revisits the strange 1930 report which 
we believe is by no means reliable.
