(meteorobs) Short Summary for May 6

I observed from the summit of Mt. Laguna for 4 hours this morning. The skies 
were brilliantly transparent yet the meteor activity was poor, especially 
during the first two hours when the first quarter moon was still in the sky. 
Even the Eta Aquarid rates were feeble as only 8 were seen. Due to company 
at home I was viewing with no sleep the previous 18 hours so I was not at my 
most alert state. I had the intensified video system running the entire time 
so those results should give a better representative view of the actual 
activity. The video results will be posted early next week.
